Computer Code

The interactive experience of Automata Streetcar will be controlled by computer code written specifically for the project - to create digital environments and visual elements, and process various inputs and outputs as required. The code is currently being written in C# using the VisualStudio IDE, and will be employed by a Unity3D software application to present the exhibit experience.

Additional code will be written, in due course, to integrate Arduino microcontrollers within the physical components of the exhibits. The microcontrollers will be use to detect sensor information, and process inputs from physical buttons and switches. They will also be used to initiate and control physical feedback elements as part of the interactive experience.
